Motionhouse celebrate their 25th anniversary with new production, ‘Broken’

Having choreographed a spectacular opening ceremony for the Paralympic games last year, it would be fair to say that Artistic Director of Motionhouse Dance Theatre, Kevin Finnan, most certainly has a reason or two to celebrate…

The celebrations are only set to continue as Motionhouse launch a new dance work to mark the company’s 25th anniversary with their new production, Broken. The show aims to explore the connection between humanity and the Earth. Transporting the audience through an array of contrasting landscapes, from ancient caves to the hustle and bustle of metropolitan life, Broken questions the constant sway between hopes and fears. With an innovative and compelling combination of powerful storytelling, dynamic athleticism and vivid digital imagery, Broken sets to be an enthralling piece, showcasing the exact reason behind the company’s success.
