A Night to Remember @ The New Wimbledon Theatre Review

Having charmed the nation for well over a decade now, Strictly Come Dancing  has without shadow of a doubt rejuvenated an otherwise preserved art form, inspiring a legion of fans to put on their dancing shoes and take up Ballroom or Latin. Millions tune into the BBC hit show at the end of the year, intrigued as to which celebrities have signed themselves up for 3 months worth of gruelling rehearsals, rip roaring performances and sparkles. Well known faces take on the dancing challenge, but what’s been great about the format is that it has produced its very own roster of stars, with Brendan Cole being one of the show’s most memorable characters.

MOVE IT 2015 @ Olympia, London

UK’s biggest dance event Move It combines dance classes, live dance performances, a freestyle stage, a showcase theatre, merchandising and shopping all in the same space: the Olympia. It is undoubtedly an exciting experience to be immersed in such an environment, with people dancing joyfully everywhere regardless of their level of skill. Everyone is free and encouraged to express themselves through movement, from children to people in wheelchairs.

Flash Mob @ The Peacock Theatre Review

So you’re doing your weekly shop, leisurely scanning through the frozen foods aisle when suddenly the seemingly casual shop assistant breaks out into a song and dance. Before you know it, you’re surrounded by a crowd of unassuming customers turned undercover professional dancers who all miraculously appear to perform a perfectly choreographed sequence in unison! Cue the era of the Flash Mob! A momentary break out into the unexpected, the exuberant and the usual!
